It still appears occasionally but nowhere near as frequently as before. The only thing that has been close for me is the Sumo, also a 16 degree stiff.

I play the XL Tour Spec 9. I have the 8. This is the first site where the XL is really talked about with such enthusiasm. With the much bigger Hibore XL, I feel that I need to tee it up and I have experiemented a bit, and I seem to get the ball up much better with a high tee.
Im currently looking for a new driver, im Why do you prefer the red to the gold shaft. I was always able to crunch the occasional yarder but only once in a while.

The open face on the Tour version combined with the shallower profile allowed me to work ttanium ball, while the elongated non-Tour version did quite well at keeping my drives straight.
My question is should I go with gold or red shaft? If 82 years old and MPH swing speed, you are my hero. I would say go with the 9. Took it out onto the course and it felt even better. Cobra Golf Pride Grip.
When I relaxed and slowed down, I boomed the ball, and was 30 tutanium short of the green on a yard Par 4 I chunked my chip of course, but the drive sure felt great!

But I do not like tip active because the tip of gold shaft is too much soft and when I shot I feel that the head is not square but a little behindso my ball goes on the right. After a fitting session at American Golf Disocunt the HiBore XL came out top for my swing stats – I hadn’t really considered fitting that important before, now I can’t get over how the head and shaft impact on ball flight and run off so much. My new favorite driver, for hbore the XL Tour.
Best driver I ever had once you get used to it. Oh, and if you want this driver to fly high, tee it up high.
